Attached below is the schedule for the months of August, September and October for the 2018-19 Volleyball Season.
Thursday, August 30th @ 6:30 p.m.
Curriculum night for middle school parents is next week Thursday, August 30th at 6:30 pm. This is an opportunity for you to go to your child’s classes, receive information about the class and curriculum, and ask any questions you may have.
Although we strongly encourage all parents to attend, if you are unable to make it, or if you have any questions, please email your student’s homeroom teacher and they will make sure to get you all of the handouts.
We hope to see you all there!
Forms and payment are due PRIOR to the first event/game.
We are still in need of a Volleyball Coach for our girls team. We ask that you please prayerfully consider serving. For more information, please contact Mr. Scheiwe or Mrs. Koenig as soon as possible.
If you were/had a student of Andrew Schempf, please know that we are continuing to look for another piano teacher and normal lessons will begin after the labor day holiday. We pray to have someone in place by then.
If you or someone you know are interested in teaching piano, please contact Mrs. Koenig at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 630-894-3263 as soon as possible.
ONE HOUR IN CLASSROOM PARENT ORIENTATION
EITHER 6 P.M. OR 7 P.M.
We strongly encourage all parents to attend Parent Orientation being held tonight, Monday, 8/20, for grades Preschool 4 Half Day, Kindergarten through 4th grade and tomorrow night, Tuesday, 8/21, for our Preschool 3 Half Day and Preschool Full Day students.
These events are for parents only. However, we don’t want child care to be a reason you can’t attend – if you need help, we will have a few older students on-site in the Heritage center to watch the kids.
These Orientation Nights are an important part of our Parent-Teacher communication and give you the opportunity to find out more information about the coming school year.
We hope you will be able to join us!
Please be sure to join us today at the 11 a.m. Worship service for the Dedication and Blessing of our school staff and faculty.
As we will not be holding an Open House this year, you are invited to join us for a cookie reception immediately following the service in the hallway by the Family Life Center and REC.
Also – don’t forget that our Uniform Swap is today in the Activity Room!
Parents of 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Students,
Don’t forget about our confirmation info meeting tomorrow night at Trinity Community Center!
Incoming 6th Grade Parents please attend from 6:00-6:30pm
7th &8th Grade Parents please attend 6:30pm-7:30pm
*Kids do not need to attend but are more than welcome if they are interested to hear more about the schedule!
Looking for a way to “serve” at Trinity? Do you have some skills in Volleyball? Well, then this is the opportunity for you!!!
We are looking for a coach for the girls volleyball team. If you, or someone you know (you don’t need to be a parent of a student), is interested, please contact Mr. Scheiwe as soon as possible.
The time has arrived! Attached below for your review is the 2018-19 Middle School Elective Form for the first semester.
Included for your reference are brief descriptions of the courses offered. As there have been some changes to elective policy this year, we ask that you please be sure to READ AND FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS LISTED.
STUDENT COUNCIL & NJHS CLARIFICATION:
For those students that are planning to run for Student Council, or to join the NJHS (National Junior Honor Society) later this fall, you will see that there are courses listed on the schedule. Only those students CURRENTLY on Student Council or in the NJHS from last year should select those courses. All others planning on running/joining should choose “Study Hall” on that day. The office will make the necessary course changes automatically after elections.
In order to ensure timely scheduling of courses for the start of the year, we ask that you review the selections with your student and return a SIGNED and completed form no later than WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15TH to the school office.
For your convenience, the attached form is fillable and can be emailed back to email@example.com. PLEASE REMEMBER TO SAVE A COPY OF THE COMPLETED FORM PRIOR TO EMAILING, otherwise we may receive a blank form. If you prefer to print and complete a paper copy, forms may be dropped off at the front desk at any time.
Please feel free to contact the school office with any questions you might have.
We look forward to a fantastic 2018-19 school year and can’t wait to see all of our smiling students soon!
For those who placed an order online with School Toolbox for student supplies PRIOR to the July 1st deadline, your orders are in!
HOWEVER, we still have some sorting to do to ensure that students receive all of the supplies they ordered.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! If anyone is available TODAY or tomorrow (Friday, August 10th) and would like to assist us with sorting, we could sure use your help! It shouldn’t take long and is not a difficult job at all. We would like to have this task completed before this weekend.
For those of you who prefer to pick-up your toolbox prior to the first day of school, please contact the school office to let us know what day/time you would like to come in during the week of August 13th – 17th. Any toolbox kits that are not picked-up will be placed into the student homeroom for use on the first day of school.
