Color Portraits will be here Thursday, September 7th to take this year’s school portraits of all students and Trinity staff.
Order forms were sent home (extra copies available on the wall outside the school office) this week. Please be sure to send these back to your student’s homeroom teacher by Wednesday, September 6th with your payment. If you place your order online, please note “paid online” on your child’s form in the “Total Enclosed” box.
Dear Trinity Families,
We would like to provide clarification on our spirit wear dress code for those of you with questions.
Every Friday is “Spirit Day” where students are allowed to wear any Trinity/tiger SHIRT, including solid Orange, Black, or White. The only bottoms allowed are jeans or regular dress bottoms (uniform).
PLEASE NOTE: The Trinity flannel pajama pants are not for every Friday. These would be special items for “Flare” days, or special dress days we have through-out the year. Announcements will be included in newsletters by teachers in your homeroom City groups notifying you of the upcoming special day.
Questions have also been asked about the Yoga jacket with the Trinity Logo that the PTL is selling. The decision was made to treat the Yoga jacket the same as the fleece jacket as stated in the handbook (pages 24 – 26). If it has the small Trinity Logo ONLY on the FRONT, it is acceptable. Although with the big bling on the back, it is acceptable to wear ONLY ON FRIDAYS. HOWEVER, just like anything else, if it becomes a distraction to learning, students may be asked to remove it at the discretion of the teacher or a staff member.
The Elementary School Ministry (ESM) will be working with the PTL to approve and design some items that could be worn in the classroom without jeopardizing the safety of students, or to the distraction of others.
We apologize for any confusion regarding spirit wear day attire. Please contact Mrs. Koenig directly at email@example.com if you have further questions.
Both our Cross Country and Volleyball teams begin this week for our Middle school students!
If your student is interested in playing on either of these teams, please be sure to sign a “Code of Conduct” form and submit your payment to Mr. Scheiwe as soon as possible.
For your convenience, a copy of the Code of Conduct form, as well as copies of both Cross Country and Volleyball schedules are posted below.
As you may have heard, our culinary teacher, Mrs. Vance, is moving into a new opportunity that supports her love of sports. We thank you for all of her love and dedication and wish her the best of everything!
Of course, this means the school is in need of someone to take over our Culinary Class for our 8th grade students, many of whom have waited patiently to take this class over the years as it is only offered to the elite 8th graders.
If you, or someone you know, is interested in sharing your passion for food, please contact the school office or Mrs. Koenig as soon as possible. Teaching this class does not require a teaching certificate, only your love of children and cooking! The teaching hours for this elective is from 2:43 – 3:24 p.m. on Monday afternoons.
Thank you for your consideration – we look forward to overwhelming number of eager responses we will receive! Be sure to be one of the first to let us know!
Attached below for your convenience is a pdf copy of the 2017-18 Preschool Parent Handbook for those with students in P3, P4 or Preschool Full Day. A hard copy of this book will also be distributed to each family. Those with students in grades K – 8 will receive a separate Parent Handbook that contains information specific to those grade levels.
Once you have reviewed the handbook with your student(s), please sign and return a copy of the form below for our records.

As summer reaches it’s end, and you find you have no place to store your noodles (pool noodles, that is) for the winter, consider donating to a good cause…..Trinity GYM CLASS!
Our new teacher, Mr. Grider, is in need of about 40 – 50 Pool Noodles that are gently used for use in our PE classes. If you would like to donate your noodles, please drop them off at the front reception desk, or in the school office.
Thank you for sharing your Noodles!
As many of you may know, we were very blessed on “School Supply Sunday” by our congregation and received an abundance of school supplies.
We still have a lot left on hand – markers, glue, notebooks, clipboards, colored pencils, etc. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please contact the school office at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know when you would like to come in.
Multiple emails were sent yesterday to all families with students in grades K – 8 that contained important information on your assigned family parking spaces, parent headmaster log-in info, middle school students headmaster log-in info and locker assignments.
If you did not receive this information, please be sure to check your spam/junk mail folders. If you find that you still don’t have it, please contact the school office as soon as possible.
