LOST AND FOUND BEFORE SPRING BREAK!!

FRIDAY 3/24
SPRING BREAK
NEXT WEEK!

WAYMAN’S WORLD
Mrs. Koenig is currently enjoying a very well deserved break…this week’s article is being supplied by Assistant Principal, Mrs. Rachael Wayman.
Spring is in the air here at Trinity, and I love spring because it is literally a time of growth and rebirth. The flowers are blooming, birds are singing their songs and the sunrise begins a new routine, awakening us once again each morning. Spring Break is also just around the corner-truly a time to do some “Spring Cleaning” and reflect on all the progress you have seen your child make this year. It is a great time to renew your energy to help your child have a great end of the school year. April and May go so quickly; but take this time to reflect with your child on how much they’ve grown since that first day of school.
With spring also comes warmer weather.  As the temperatures start to warm up and your child is getting increasingly active with extra-curricular activities, please do everything you can to keep
the academic fires burning.  So, during this “week off” encourage your child to continue reading and working on their math skills every day.  As tempting as it might be for them to watch T.V all day or “chat” with their friends, remind them that staying on top of these skills will help them finish off the year strong!
Have a blessed and safe spring break-

Rachael Wayman

A Weekly Prayer Guide
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled”.
Matthew 5:6
We give thanks to You, O God our Father, for all the benefits we receive through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.  Almighty and most merciful God, we ask that You remember the poor and neglected in our world.  Open our hearts, Lord, that we might know and understand the need of those who hunger and thirst for righteousness.  Lord, give us the passion to reach out to the thousands who have lost their hope, who need shelter, who are old and sick and who have no one to care for them.  Lord, fill our hearts with compassion.  Help us to feed Your sheep with daily bread to sustain their physical lives and to share about Jesus, the Bread of Life.  In the precious and holy Name of Jesus. Amen.
This week we prayer for our 8th grade class – the students, families and Mrs. Wayman. Please let us know if there is something specific we can pray for.
If you would like a member of our Pastoral Care team to call on you, please call our church office and we will be happy to put you in touch with someone.  Be assured, all correspondence and communications are, and will continue to be, kept in the strictest of confidence.

The further we get into the ‘Spring’ the harder it seems to get places on time, especially school. Coming late to school causes hardship for the teacher and the child. Here are three things that you can do to help your child and (you) get to school on time.

  1. Plan – The night before take a few minutes to plan for the next day. Packing backpacks, making lunch, have things ready to walk out the door.

  2. Prioritize – Schedule appointments at the very end of the day or after school is over. Plan vacations during scheduled break time minimizing make-up frustrations.

  3. Practice – Each day is an opportunity to practice these skills. The more you are successful, the easier it will become.

Growing alongside you,

Dawn Koenig

SHARE YOUR PRAYERS –
A Weekly Prayer Guide
From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise.
Psalm 8:2
I praise you, God, for You have given life to my child. I see reflected the light of the Hold Spirit within this child as she/he plays, cries, laughs, and coos. Continue to walk with both of us. Our days are not perfect, but we carry Your love with us one day at a time. We cannot endure without Your guidance and patience. Forgive me when I fail to seek Your plans because of the challenges each day brings. Help me to walk through each day, remembering Your grace that You grant to both my child and me. Through my smile, kisses, and hugs help me to always show Your love to him/her in my actions. Please help me to provide a home for my child that encourages faith, hope, and love. In Your precious Son’s name. Amen.
This week we prayer for our 4th grade class – the students, families and Mrs. Cillick and Miss Longman. Please let us know if there is something specific we can pray for.
If you would like a member of our Pastoral Care team to call on you, please call our church office and we will be happy to put you in touch with someone.  Be assured, all correspondence and communications are, and will continue to be, kept in the strictest of confidence.

A Weekly Prayer Guide
Father in heaven, bless by congregation as you daily remind each of us that we are your children made in your image, save by grace alone through faith in Christ Jesus. Thank you that though we are all different, we are the same in your sight. Lord, sometimes it feels scary to be with people who do not share my culture and heritage. Calm my fears and teach me to celebrate our congregational diversity. Help me embrace, to learn about and to understand each person in my church family, so that I can see beyond the differences to the similarities. You have given each of us special gifts with which to serve you. Bring us together in unity to bring honor and glory to your name by living, sharing and teaching your love in our homes, workplaces, communities and the world. In Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.
