This November, if you have a child in 1st – 4th grade, they can be a part of helping to bring the true meaning of Christmas to us all. The immortal tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and his journey to understand the joy to be found in kindness and loving thy neighbor is the subject of this fall’s play.
Well, OK, it’s not exactly “A Christmas Carol”, but it is “Scrooged” – an abridged, age-appropriate stage adaptation of the 1988 Bill Murray movie.
Auditions are Friday, 9/7, 2pm-4pm with rehearsals beginning the following Monday. There are roles for all levels and any child 1st-4th grade is encouraged to audition. Everyone who auditions will have a part in the play.
