Academics

Overview

While we have high expectations of all our students, as demonstrated by Trinity’s challenging and contemporary curriculum, we use a differentiated approach to instruction in order to address individual needs and maximize each student’s potential. With a clear understanding of Common Core State Standards, we incorporate proven traditional methods and strategies as well as merging aspects of the latest research on critical thinking, brain development, and interdisciplinary instruction.

Understanding each student’s academic level gives teachers the power to help each student excel. That’s why Trinity partners with NWEA to administer MAP computerized adaptive assessments three times a year. These tests cover the areas of Mathematics, Reading, Language Arts and Science giving teachers the detailed information they need to build curriculum and meet their students’ needs, one child at a time. Trinity not only regularly reports the results of the MAP tests to our families, teachers get timely feedback and use this data to modify and refine instruction to target learning goals. Teachers strive to help all students reach their potential.

At Trinity we will love your sons or daughters as if they are our own, ensuring they always receive the individual focus and continuous encouragement they deserve, whether that means adapting our teaching approach to your child’s personal learning style or spending additional one-on-one time with them.
